We are looking at doing a "Local Area Connection (LAN)" party. This event is still being planned out and we will bring you more information when it becomes available.

Here are some of the details that we can put up.  You will need the Steam Client, you can download it and join for free here.  You will also need to have purchased, at minimum, the games below.

Half-Life
Half-Life 2
Counter-Strike
Counter-Strike Source

We will not have internet access so please make sure that all of the games are up to date and all custom maps are installed.  Dont worry, the host pc will upload the maps to the people who do not have them.

For this event, you will need to bring your own PC or Laptop, they will not be provided, bring snacks and drinks to share.  The club will not be providing anything but the network switches, although bringing more may be a good idea.

There will also be a tip bucket there for donations and tips to the club, anything you can spair will go to events, we will need like 400 dollers for room for the pre party.

now that is a good event but currently till the 12th i am 12 hours away but like i have said i will be doing anything i can from this distance XD

The Party is on Feb. 20th at 6:30 PM and is located at the Party Room at 411 Dayton Rd, Champlin, MN 55316.

To be eligable to play in the group, you will need the game client Steam.  You can download it here.

We will be playing the fallowing games:
Half-Life
Half-Life Source
Half-Life 2 Deathmatch
Counter Strike
Counter Strike Source
Day of Defeat
Deathmatch Classic
and Team Fortress Classic

If you are new to steam and would like to partake in the action at the party, you will need to purchase these games.

For $14.99 you can get the Half-Life 1 Anthology which includes the origional Half-Life, Blue Shift, Opposing Force and TCF.

You can also get the Orange Box, which includes 6 games:
Half-Life 2, Episode 1, episode 2, lost coast, portal, TFC2

Make sure that you own the license to the games, have them installed and everything updated before bringing your PCs and Laptops to the party.  We will not have access to the internet and we will only have wired hubs.  more wired hubs will be welcome.

We will also have the option to have sevral games over one network, so feel free to bring your copy of StarCraft as well.
